Bio/Description
Erik Nook is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Princeton University and an Associated Faculty Member in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. Erik directs the Logic of Emotion Laboratory, which seeks to advance understanding of human emotion using developmental, neuroscientific, and translational tools. Prior to his current position, Erik completed a PhD in clinical psychology at Harvard University, a predoctoral clinical internship at Weill Cornell Medical College, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University. Erik is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of New York, and his work leverages basic research on emotion to refine our methods for promoting psychological health.
