The Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHW) welcomes proposals from CHW affiliated faculty to support research relevant to health and health policy. Each grant has a maximum of $5,000.
Research Proposals
To be considered for seed grant research funding, please send the following information to CHW Program Manager and Grants Administrator Debra Pino Betancourt at [email protected]:
- A one- to two-page description of the research;
- A one-paragraph summary of the proposed project and how it is relevant to health policy;
- The budget*;
- The budget justification, including an approximate timeline for when grant funds will be spent and an estimated amount of the funds that will be spent prior to June 1, 2025.
*Preference will be given to projects that can spend some or all funds prior to June 1, 2025, but proposals for funding for the next fiscal year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) will also be considered. Budgets should only include costs related to the research. Student research assistant costs are allowable, but costs to cover postdoc or PI salaries are not eligible.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis; preference will be given to applications received by March 17.
If you have any questions, please contact CHW Program Manager and Grants Administrator Debra Pino Betancourt at [email protected].
