Ruha Benjamin Delivers Loeschner Leadership Lecture

CHW affiliate Ruha Benjamin was the featured speaker for Northwestern University’s Nancy and Ray Loeschner Leadership Lecture Series and its Distinguished Public Policy Lecture Series on January 23, 2024. At the event, Benjamin discussed her upbringing, her research on race, technology, and justice, and her latest books: “Viral Justice: How We Grow the World We Want” and “Imagination: A Manifesto,” released this month.

Benjamin is the Alexander Stewart 1886 Professor of African American studies and founding director of the Ida B. Wells Just Data Lab at Princeton.
