Learning from Past Disasters to Help Covid Long Haulers

CHW affiliate Heather Howard and Bronte Nevins MPA '24 researched potential policies to support those living with long Covid. Their investigation drew from health policy responses to previous disasters, such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina, and the Flint, Michigan lead contamination crisis. This article chronicles weaknesses in the current safety net and calls for more robust interventions.
