Howard to serve on advisory committee examining impact of health care payment reforms

The Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network (LAN) recently released its findings that about 25 percent of payments in commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage plans meet the LAN definition for alternative payment models (APMs), demonstrating the degree to which states have undertaken these experiments in health care payment reform.  Catalyst for Payment Reform, an independent, national non-profit organization, recently announced its Scorecard on Payment Reform initiative, or Scorecard 2.0, which is intended to examine the impact of these models in improving quality, efficiency, and cost.  Heather Howard has been named to a team of experts who will serve as an Advisory Committee for this work.
