Howard and Meuse comment on recent developments in state health reform innovation

Section 1332 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) allows states to apply to waive out of some provisions of the law, provided that a number of guardrails are met by the state.  In recent months, several states have begun to consider their options for innovation under these waivers, which can first take effect at the beginning of 2017.  In a new article on Health Affairs Blog, Heather Howard and Dan Meuse provide an update on the current status of developments in states, as well potential states to watch as waiver considerations continue to unfold.
