Princeton juniors Maya Butani and Sukaina Shivji, who are both minoring in Global Health and Health Policy, received the Campus Impact Award for research that has had a demonstrable, meaningful, and potentially lasting impact on the Princeton campus. The award, given during Princeton Research Day, recognized their project titled “The Health Outpost: A Novel Health Intervention Created via Equity-Centered Design-Thinking for Princeton’s Campus,” which created an accessible library of health information for students.
Now in its tenth consecutive year, Princeton Research Day celebrates the research and creative endeavors of undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and other early-career researchers. The event highlights work from across all areas of study at Princeton, including natural sciences, social sciences, engineering, and arts and humanities. In 2025, a total of 25 awards were given.
