Princeton University's Heather Howard and Rebecca Lopez co-authored an article exploring how states are working to mitigate the health impacts of climate change and extreme heat, which disproportionately affect communities of color.
Professor Howard also addressed this issue, more broadly, on a recent episode of the Princeton Pulse Podcast. She was joined by climate scientist Michael Oppenheimer, a Princeton professor and director of the university’s Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment, and Dr. Jeremy Hess, a professor and director of the Center for Health and the Global Environment at University of Washington.
