Dr. Julie L. Gerberding, executive vice president for strategic communications, global public policy and population health at Merck & Co. and former head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will present a public talk titled, "Menacing Mosquitos, Biting Bats, and Tormenting Ticks:  Health Protection Priorities," at 4:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, Robertson Hall, Princeton University.

Gerberding is this year’s Gilbert Omenn '61 Lecturer in Science Policy at the School, which was made possible by the Gilbert Omenn and Martha Darling Fund. Gerberding’s three-day visit also is supported by the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation Leadership through Mentorship Program.
