Tom Vogl is an Assistant Professor of Economics and International Affairs. His research mainly deals with the economics of health and population in developing countries. Recent work has examined the relationship between economic resources and fertility within and across countries, the effects of childhood family structure on adult outcomes, and the determinants and consequences of early-life health. In a separate line of research, he has studied electoral politics in the United States. A.B. Princeton University; Ph.D. Harvard University.
